Open Labs Inc. partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and South Texas, Frito-Lay and CharityFolks.com to auction the 61-key NeKo LX Gen3 keyboard that was played live by Morris Hayes at the 2007 Super Bowl XLI during Prince's halftime performance. The broadcast was seen by more than 90 million viewers worldwide. Generally regarded as one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows ever, Prince's performance featured a medley of hits, including his Number One hit "Purple Rain," which he played during a torrential downpour.

"Thanks to contributors like Open Labs, we can make more wishes come true here at home for children suffering with life-threatening medical conditions," says Make-A-Wish president and CEO, Tammy Shaklee. "We hope to generate a lot of interest in this celebrity keyboard to benefit children currently waiting for their wish."

"We are pleased to offer this exclusive keyboard to the Make-A-Wish Foundation," says Victor Wong, president and chairman of Open Labs. "Our highest hope is that this item will benefit several children and help fulfill their wildest dreams."

This factory-reconditioned keyboard, authenticated and notarized by Open Labs, is registered as serial number N0461. The winning bidder will also receive a photograph from the Super Bowl performance framed with the authenticity notification.

Proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bidding starts today, May 22, 2007, and closes June 14, 2007, at 6 p.m. EDT at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
