Post by CKJ505 on Sun Feb 07, 2016 4:13 pm

    Let's get the ball rolling...

    Here >

I have a short, just under 3 minutes....guitar rhythm for someone's ears to attack.

Listen at your own will... you have been warned. scared

Anywho... hands up if anyone wants to add. Chords are F#m E - D F#m A... and so on.

    1.Drums.
    2.Synths.
    3.Bass.
    4.Lyrics.
    5.Vocals.
    6.Guitar Lead... ?
    7. Effects.
    8.Production mix down etc.

    So be it. Kool

If anyone wants Junkyard in Flac or Wav, just ask...

    Above all....have fun!

    Cheers!
    Very Happy

Dust the tings and strings, Maxim is adding drums as we speak....

When that is done you can add what ever you want.

I thought about that but didn't have any ideas with just the guitar part. Maybe after the drums are in place, bass lines may start running through my head.

Cool! It can be expanded above 3 mins as there is plenty to play with. I am hoping others at the EMC get involved, that is what we are all about!  Drummer gwtar What?

I gotta a chorus running through my head, but may not get a chance to lay anything down until the weekend. I'll work with anything - drums and/or bass added - thats ready for Friday night UK time (giving any US musicians an additional 5 hours!)

Don't worry - when the cake is ready, we'll get a 5 min mix out of this  Cool

Brick - how's the upacking going?  Very Happy

    Hey guys,
just DL'd & been listen-in' to maxims' vers of F.Yard  Smile
making space in Bricks-ville (a cramped loft flat) & unpacking the toys took me a couple of hours.  Embarassed
Plumbing MIDI, Audio & Power has taken a few more in the early-hours this morning [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - eeep!
I'd forgotten how many cables I'd packed away Rolling Eyes & that I'd traded me amp, so I got hold of a Kenwood Hi-Fi separate.
Can't do a check just yet (it's 6:30am) but promise I'll try a few tings-out today, see what sounds good alongside.

Anyone got experience with a DAW?
I've used 'Reaper' a couple of times but I get overwhelmed by all the options

Have been using 'Audition' since 2004. Still my favourite AND freely available http://www.techspot.com/downloads/5733-adobe-audition.html
But, from a quick glance, Reaper is similar (and just as overwhelming).

From my angle, there are no "pressure" or deadlines to be met, chill guys and do not make it complicated...simplicity is , simplicity does!  cool3

Easy for me to say... my part is done, just looking forward to the add ons!
