    Sadly I did too, I even ventured out one eve minus the socks, I nearly got the sh1t beaten out of me for doing so, I should have brought my gun....

    At the time I thought is was 'cool'

    André Shirts did not think it was 'cool'...

    Note , I changed my look after 'Close Encounters of the Miami Kind' and went for the biker look.....

    Yep, me too but I think it was '85 and at some point I mixed the Prince Pants (buttons down the side) with pastel shirt and white jacket. Embarassed

    I was 18 in the sumemr of '87 and I've seen pics recently of my 18th birthday party where I'm wearing a blue and yellow checked suit, sleeves rolled back a la Don Johnson, mullet hairstyle (I'm totally bald now).

    Why on earth did I think I looked so good?

    Do people still say "poser" ? I remember some friends of mine back in the 80's calling the Hair Metal Bands Posers when they just had discovered Speed Metal in bands like Metallica
