Mm, is it just me being half-ill today, but this sounded pretty soulless. No fire. Maybe because it's a rehearsal?

Prince is obviously having fun on the guitar, and plays some amazing licks. But the Icecream Castles keyboards just sag ...

I thought that jam was pretty good, maybe if more are done, a compilation Rehearsal Album can be sewn together.

I like the concept of them re-visiting old school jams and re-working them into extended versions but keeping the overall funky feel.

CK likes this on Entropy.... sunny

ehh...it's ok...it seems like he's digging into the vault big time to make up for the fact that his new tunes are pretty subpar...and the "gems" he's pulling out of the vault aren't so hot either...

Has anyone done a list of the vault gems?

Maybe an album could - should be put together.

What I really mean is a good album. [Flac] of course!

There are enough really good tracks in the vault to make up a few albums

When you have the time, can you put your top 20 vault gems together on a list, I would like to see what you would reckon would make a great vault double or triple album.

On a Vault note - I don't believe any of us will ever hear whatever may be in there.
I don't think P is ever going to share the contents while he is alive and given that he is in better shape than me, it may be be a long time for anyone else too.

To put a number on it , say he has got 20 more years. If we have been paying attention to what happened with all of the Hendrix stuff, which was a much smaller amount of material, then the vault would be released for the next 40 years after that.
So really there is no need to dream about what, or what may not, be in the vault.

I am going to pass on my membership to the illustrious Entropy site to my son in my will and he will carry on the quest to put together the ultimate vault album.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

    3. Go
    4. God Is Alive
    5. Lisa
    6. Father's Song
    7. A Place In Heaven
    8. All My Dreams
    9. Witness 4 The Prosecution
    10. Empty Room
    11. She's Just A Baby
    12. Ure Still The One (Shania Twain cover)
    13. Electric Intercourse
    14. The Ball
    15. Rebirth Of The Flesh
    16. The Line

Interesting List, I can agree with some and disagree with others. It's one of those lists that will suit some and not suit others.
    You get the idea.

I don't want to be a hornet in a beehive but some songs there are not classified as Vaulted songs.

This seems like a topic of it's own, Let the Admins come and disassemble and re-assemble somewhere deeper in the basement.

Thanks for posting your list. Very Happy
