It took me a while to get on the road......I was 24 ..... insurance kept me off...the first vehicle I thought abot buying was gonna cost me £400 but the insurance for one year was £3,500. so it stayed on the that long finger.

then in 97-98 I bought my first car and I went as far as buying it new
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

An Opel Corsa 5door 1lt that had a top speed of 93 mph (But I bet that and got it to 106 mph with a little help of a hill....but it was scary at that speed, it broke my heart to part with it after 10 years when I got

    An opel Astra
Which cost us a small fortune in repairs

    which we traded against this

Thanks for posting guys, from that I have figured out why Ireland is not doing so well in the auto industry, we have a tendancy to hang on to our cars for as long as possible unlike MaXims history which just shows the booming economy of vehicle purchases in America or it just might be MaXim changing cars every week...[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

@MaXim, I do like the Chevy C10! I want one for over here.

@JFrost, Skoda's are a great car, a stonking VW 1.9 engine, extremely reliable.
