The book will be ready for St.Patrick's Day.

Much easier to do the art for it first.
    Now let's start spinning discs.

    I don't like soul. And I don't like disco. And I don't like CK.

    Laughing

And I had 5 hours of sleep last night ...

    tongue

(That joke is so 'inside' it might need an explanation: 'CK' is the name of a really useless supermarket here in Aberswampland. Certainly not to be confused with the marvellous phenomenal king of tips, jokes, comments, trivia, posts, and soon (perhaps) podcasts: CKJ505!!)

CK, again congratulations on a Throwback 70's jam! Was great to hear Detroit Emeralds' version of 'Feel the Need' again and thanks for showing some love to Heatwave (a highly underrated band from that era).

However, as I feel I must point one of the few rules of podcasting around here: http://www.entropymc.com/t2005-webcasting-and-music-rules

Would you mind adding some vocals so we can hear that velvety Irish voice of yours?

Don't be nervous, as Purpleblues' first few podcasts were similar, until he stepped up to the mic and became our own John Peel! He can share his experience

    I know, I know....

I did run a few vocals over the podcast, it sounded so bad I could not put it in, it would have ruined the tracks which to me are more important.

I do intend on getting a quality microphone as the one I have is well below par.

Just letting you know my voice is far from velvetly...more like sandpaper rubbed on a rhinos derry air!

    My next will, promise.

OK - now I have to go to the local 'animalarium' to check what that sounds like! Cool

No worries - Purpleblues used the old "let the music speak for itself" argument as well
