and , on cue, the alien decides to go and annoy another PC.

    They look like  great .

I've picked up a couple of the 2 CD remaster sets, as Queen were the first "Contemporary " band that I discovered for my self. Others were poached from friends, friends elder siblings etc, but Queen were "my band" when I was a young teenager.

And whilst we share our latest discoveries / finds / re discoveries or gifts, I must confess to gaining 25  Cd's for the princely sum of £25 today...

    Amongst the pile were -

Michael Jackson - "Thriller" special edition
Joan Osborne - " How Sweet It Is"
The Jayhawks - "Sound Of Lies"
Imogen Heap - "Speak For Yourself"
Patrick Watson - "Close To Paradise"
Youssou N'Dour - "Wommat " and "the Best Of"
Moby - "Go" ( the best of)
Love And Money - "Cheap Pearls & Whisky Dreams"
    Tyler Mix - "Ascent"
Jackie Leven - "Lovers At The Gun Club"
Old Crow Medicine Show - "OCMS"
Patti Smith - "Twelve"Afro Celt Sound System - " POD"
The Flatlanders - "Wheels Of Fortune" & "Now Again"
Robin Trower - "20th Century Blues"
and more that I've not listened to yet.

Favourites at the moment are Imogen , Jayhawks and Love & Money.

As you might expect, I've been single handedly keeping the world's independent musicians solvent.
Amongst the many musical gems I've unearthed during EMC's hiatus, Id recommend " The Tea Party" - Canadian goth rockers, sound like Jim Morrison fronting Led Zeppelin , "Galahad" -  prog masters from the west country, Big Big Train - a multi-national Prog collective based in Winchester who have an obsessive interest in Curry and sprouts, Tom Moriaty, a fine English songwriter ,Gazpacho ,Scandinavain gloom prog masters, who produce epic concept albums with fewer tracks than a Prince Maxi single and Aloe Blacc, who combines the charisma of James Brown with the dance moves of Michael Jackson but writes songs that Pharrel would sell his hat for
