Have all arrived courtesy of Father Christmas, January Sales and Charity shop browsing.
At the moment, Cyndi is hogging the CD player, but Scott was blasting out yesterday, and Banco De Gaia are an office favourite, which is a shock , as hard core trip hop / ambient techno world music would not be on any of my co workers ipods ( if they had such things, which they don't Smile )
So, 2011 is sounding good so far sunny

    R.Kelly - Love Letter

Now this is really nice. My Dad wants to get this. R Kelly really goes back with this album to Marvin Gaye-type stuff. The music video with all the different types of microphones is really symbolic, he wanting everyone to hear what he has to say

    Good catch with this

I heard the song on your podcast from Frau Frau, wonderful song , 'The dumbing down of love' I think is was called. Is that on the album above?

I noticed from your podcast too that and from the recent purchases that you tend to bend towards the female side of music.

One of the few females I did and still do like is Kate Bush and pieces from Annie Lennox. I must venture out and explore more.
The Ting Ting's rock. 2 piece band! Brilliant! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

yep - The dumbing down of love is on this Frou Frou album. It's the only one they made I think, and then Imogen Heap went solo.

yep again - mainly women in my collection of 'casual music' (i.e. not Beatles, Prince, Elvis Costello). Women are superior to men, aren't they? (I need a smiley now with big innocent eyes Laughing )

ah the myth of the Boots No7 silencer being fictional... don't believe it, a seeker after the truth was found in a library showing all the symptoms of mascara assassination, but no one heard a thing... scratch

I'm actually quite partial to that Carmen Electra album too! Embarassed

Is that English? I mean I quite like it.

I'm still wondering how you do that 'Step to-de-loo the mic' thing with your voice? I mean the fast stutter in the word 'to'. Maybe it's done with computers?
