    AmpliTube®
    Guitar Amp & FX
    Modeling Plug-In
    • Amp modeling
    • Stomp modeling
    • Post effects modeling
    • For MacOS® and Windows®
    • Separate Pre, EQ, Amp, Cabinet and Mic modeling
    • 1,260 different amp configurations can be emulated
    • 10 stomp, amp and post effects included
    • Based on must-have modern and vintage Amps and effects

AmpliTube UNO includes the crunch and distortion models from AmpliTube. The distortion effect is modeled after an analog solid-state overdrive stomp box. This is the perfect unit for "driving" the first stage of the AmpliTube UNO pre-amp. This is a versatile overdrive pedal that can saturate itself and overdrive the amp as well.
Next to the Distortion effect is the amp modeling section, the Crunch Model. The Crunch Model is the same one offered in the full version of AmpliTube. This model features an EQ stage with Lo, Mid and Hi tone control circuitry that recreates the authentic response of the modeled amp. It also features an input gain control and an overall output level control.

    ReBirth

Post by maxim9691 on Tue Sep 07, 2010 3:12 pm

Propellerhead Software discontinues ReBirth - Releases it for free!

ReBirth is dead, long live ReBirth! Ladies and Gentlemen, we hereby announce that ReBirth is officially discontinued. September 1, 2005 marks the end of the ReBirth era, and we are celebrating this by opening the ReBirth Museum to commemorate its history.

Why did Propellerhead make this decision?

ReBirth was the first successful software synthesizer. It pioneered and shaped a lot of what we now take for granted in software synthesizer type products. However, it was designed almost ten years ago. Musical styles and music technology have both changed dramatically since then, and we decided that the foundation for the product just wasn't valid anymore. We're a small company with limited development resources and we think it makes much more sense for everybody involved - even you as a ReBirth user - that we concentrate our efforts on our more current products and on future projects.

The practical ramifications of this decision are:

    * All development on ReBirth RB-338 has stopped. There will be no future updates and no Mac OS X version.
    * Personal customer support of the product will be discontinued. We receive very few questions from ReBirth owners nowadays, and all of the information we usually provide is now available in the FAQ section on the new ReBirth web site, see below.
    * As of today, ReBirth is given away for free. Anyone can download and use ReBirth 2.0.1. The download and instructions are also available on the ReBirth site.

    d-lusion Rubberduck

    d-lusion Rubberduck (Free)

    Rubberduck
Good news, everyone! Rubberduck is back! Completely free, fully functional and without any ad technology. In case you didn't knew already: Rubberduck is an acid- and techno-synthesizer for your PC. Its whole concept is based on the legendary cult synthesizer TB 303.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
With this bass synthesizer released for Windows 95 in 1996 (way before Propellerheads Rebirth, was available), d-lusion pioneered the market of realtime software synthesizers on standard processors. Roughly based on the the well known TB-303, Rubberduck's synthesis model consists of an oscillator wave with a resonant filter sweep applied to it combined with an efficient hardware sequencer design which resolves in the typical twisted, screaming, bubbling bass sound that is often used in Acid House, Goa Trance, or Techno productions. Rubberduck featured realtime digital resonant dynamic filters, frequency and volume envelope (DCA, DCF), 4 basic waveforms, dual oscillator sound generation (starting with version 2.0), a 224 note sequencer, a drum section where samples could be synchroneous played back, an effect unit (delay/feedback/distortion) and was fully Windows 95 compatible.

    DtBlkFx VST plug-in
    Darrell Barrell DtBlkFx v1.1
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
DtBlkFx by Darrell Barrell is a freeware Fast-Fourier-Transform (FFT) based Multi effect VST plug-in for Windows and Mac.

This effect works differently to most others – instead of filtering or distorting audio data directly, it finds the frequency spectrum via a fast-fourier-transform and then does stuff to that.

    DtBlkFx v1.1 features

    * Precision parametric equalizing with sharp-roll off, adjust individual harmonics of a sound.
    * Harmonic based (or comb) filtering, including active harmonic tracking.
    * Various types of noise control, change contrast between loud and soft frequencies, clip frequencies or apply sound smearing.
    * Frequency shifting, harmonic and non-harmonic shifting, including active harmonic repitch.
    * Various methods of mixing left and right channels, standard and harmonic vocoding, convolution like mixing and more.
    * Frequency masking, set harmonic or threshold masks for any effect.
    * Up to 8 effects in series.
    * GUI graphics can be customized.

DtBlkFx is available to download as a free VST effect plug-in for Windows and Mac (last update: 15 Apr, 2008, Windows version).

    Mobius

Post by maxim9691 on Tue Sep 07, 2010 5:01 pm

Jeff Larson - Mobius v1.1.9 (free)

    From the homepage:
Mobius is a program for the real-time creation and manipulation of audio loops. It has functionality based on the venerable Echoplex Digital Pro with Loop IV software. It is not a complete emulation, but it does implement many of the Loop IV features, as well as a number of useful new features. Mobius is essentially 8 synchronized stereo EDP's with the ability to copy loops and timing between them. Extensive MIDI and computer keyboard control is available. Audio content may be saved to and loaded from files.

Mobius is free, though I do request that you report any problems you encounter and offer suggestions for new features you think would be useful. It is a Windows program developed under XP and may be run standalone or as a VST plugin. It will run on 2000 and NT, but will not run on 95 or 98. While everyone is welcome to try it, for best results you should already be familiar with looping in general, and with the EDP in particular. I am unable to provide comprehensive documentation at this time, but if you are familiar with the EDP you should be able to find your way around.

    Audio Damage FuzzPlus 2

Post by maxim9691 on Tue Sep 07, 2010 5:06 pm

    Audio Damage FuzzPlus 2 (Free)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The basis of the plug-in is a transform model of a famous vintage fuzz pedal. There are four controls:

Fuzz knob: This controls, as you might imagine, exactly how much fuzz is applied to the signal.

Tone knob: This controls the brightness of the distorted signal.

Output knob: This is the output volume of the device, when it is active.

Bypass button: This works just like the switch on a stomp box. When the blue light is lit, you're money. When it's not, the input is passed directly to the output. This can be automated for a slightly different vibe than automating the effect bypass of your host.

    Directions:

OSX: Unzip and place FuzzPlus2.VST in library/audio/plugins/VST

Windows: Unzip and place FuzzPlus2.dll in your VST plugins folder

    Changes:

    * New GUI.
    * Tone control added.
    * Several bug fixes for the Windows VST version.

    JellyFilter v0.9.4 (Free)

Do you need good lead lines in your production? A synthesizer, biting hard or teasing soft? A synthesizer, flexible to bend to any kind of synth sound? JellyFilter is the solution.

JellyFilter was copied from a red Swedish lead synth idol (which is available in 3 versions to my knowledge) and implies some more functionality, at some point less functionality.

    Technical details:

    Oscillators:

Saw, Sine, Square, Pulse (50%, 25%, 5%), Noise

    Filter:

24dB LowPass and Bandpass with resonance, Highpass, envelope amount and cutoff, possibility for self-resonance (protect your ears)

    Envelopes:

ADSR for the Amplifier section, ADSR for the Filter section.

    Effects:

    Portamento, Delay, Distortion, Energy

    Tweakbench DROPOUT (free VST)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
dropout is a sample player that utilizes granular pitch shifting and sample slicing to play back a sample in new and unusual ways. the first row of sliders controls the actual playhead position in the sample at that step. the second row controls the coarse pitch, which is multiplied by the pitch variance setting at the top. the bottom row of toggles allows each individual slice to be reversed. all the other settings should be familiar from the breakdown, mashup, and sideslip effects.

    oops Riffworks ain't free ...
the drum-machine thing I tried (ErsDrums v1.2) wasn't complete (it's a dll file which has to be inserted somewhere else - which I don't understand?)
And the Propellerhead Software is a torrent, which can't get through my work firewall.

It's not my lucky day ...

And the Propellerhead Software is a torrent, which can't get through my work firewall.

It's not my lucky day ...

then again, in the North of England they call you 'duck' or 'luv' on the bus. And ducks are usually squishy, aren't they? Laughing

since I had never been called an 'old flower' before, I felt I had to return the favour Laughing
