Not my favourite Prince song ... it always sounds like me as if it's been made half-heartedly on a children's keyboard.

This version sounds a bit more substantial and with a tad more 'soul' (and shows the potential of the song!). But it's still got that irritating dated keyboard riff. If only they'd played that on a different instrument. Brass or something?

The vid screen bit reminds me of Chocolate Box! Or is that the other way around? I've always thought this was a great B-side. Maybe it wouldn't have fitted on Batman, but it's sure great to have as a bonus.

Never cared for Prince's version- sounded like it was done in a few minutes and the lyrics made up as he went
